Lisbon, 13 Nov 2026, during Web Summit week. A free live session at Portugal Tech Week.

WHY USERS LEAVE YOUR AI FEATURE

You built an AI feature. Users try it once and never come back. This session is a live game about why users drop off, and what to do next.

HOW IT WORKS

I'll show you real product cases. For each one, you vote: should this be delegated to AI, yes or no? Then we look at what happened and why.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

– How to spot where users fall off in an AI product
– The retention flywheel: why people keep using a product
– How to design AI features around trust, context and real utility
– When to delegate to AI and when to keep human judgment
– Real cases, real numbers, something to apply the next morning

WHO IT'S FOR

Founders, future founders, product managers, designers and anyone building AI products, AI agents or AI features in startups and tech teams.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Madalena Costa is a speaker and consultant on human-centred AI and agentic UX. She advises founders on product retention and AI UX, and hosts the Human x Intelligent podcast.
