Fred Gelli - CEO Tatil Design
Fred Gelli is co-founder and CEO of Tátil Design, a strategic consultancy that uses design to create sustainable connections between people and brands, such as Coca-Cola, Netflix, Danone, Natura and TIM. Over his 35 year trajectory, he has collected over 200 national and international awards, including: iF Design Award, IDEA USA, D&AD, and Cannes Lions. He has participated as judge in a few of the most important international design awards, such as D&AD (2007), 55th Cannes Lions (2008) and Jury President in the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity (2016). One of his achievement was designing the Rio 2016™ Olympic and Paralympic Games Brands and being Creative Director of Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies of Rio 2016™. In 2016 he was honored as commander of the Order of Cultural Merit by the Ministry of Culture and awarded Professional Design by ABP - Brazilian Advertising Association. In the same year, he was also considered by Design Week one of the 10 Most Influential Designers in the world. In 2014 Fred was included in Fast Company's ranking of the 100 Most Creative in the world and Tátil was one of the Top 10 Most Innovative companies in South America. For the last 20 years, Gelli has been teaching Ecodesign and Biomimicry at PUC Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
