Ambassador - Beja
Nuno Catarino has a degree in International Relations from the University of Évora and a postgraduate qualification in Public Policies and Projects. Since 2018, he has been professionally engaged in projects related to territorial development, beginning his career at the Nossa Senhora da Graça Social Center, where he served as Coordinator of the Department of Sociocommunity Development and Network Work. He later joined the Baixo Alentejo Social Innovation Hub as a project management technician, contributing to the implementation and monitoring of initiatives with social impact. He is currently Coordinator of the Communication and Environmental Awareness Office at the Municipal Water and Sanitation Company of Beja (EMAS Beja), while continuing to actively collaborate in social innovation as a mobilization agent. Promoting local development and enhancing the territory are central to his work, consistently fostering cooperation among public entities, companies, and communities, and driving initiatives that generate positive and sustainable social impact.
