Penélope is a community builder with a strong curiosity to find what makes people tick. She's a co-founder of local.foundation, a platform dedicated to fostering strong and vibrant communities, and also works as a technical & team lead in Contentserv where she drives innovation in the PIM market. An active participant in Algarve's tech scene, she embraces collaboration and networking as a community builder, through Geek Sessions Faro. Having studied in several cities in Portugal and traveled through many countries, Penélope quickly learned that people are the most interesting when they’re getting their hands dirty to solve problems and finding solutions in a collaborative way. She has organized and facilitated events from Geek Sessions Faro, Geek Girls Portugal, Agile Connect, Startup Weekend and a couple of hackathons like Shift Faro and Impact Hackers. Not one to settle for one thing, she likes to dabble into a bazillion creative hobbies, and by accident has created more than 80 spotify playlists.
