“Mexoxo” is a non-profit organization that supports women in fully utilizing their capabilities. Believing that education is the tool for development and change, Mexoxo encourages, promotes, and facilitates active participation of women in entrepreneurship, education, and empowerment. Elpida founded Mexoxo in 2013 with the vision of “Democratizing education for women globally.” Mexoxo’s mission is to support 5 million women by 2030 in achieving socio-economic development. Since its inception, Mexoxo has trained and empowered 43,000+ women in 40 countries and has indirectly impacted 172,000 women, as each empowered woman supports four others in her family or community.
